My university experience

Well, this is my second year of journalism initially my friends thought that I was a rude person because I dressed like one, but was only while I was waiting for "mechoneo", well I think that I was looking normal. By the way, with the time they think that I'm cute –I hate to be called cute because I don't think I'm cute- The same happens with people that think I'm responsible but I'm not so much because I'm lazy haha.

The past year I thought that I wouldn't fit in a group because I like anime, manga and music in japanese. I thought that I would be pissed off always.

But I was wrong, because I have so good friends despite we don't have the same tastes. With them I have a rich exchange, I learnt new things and they learnt about my tastes too.

Studies are good too I like writing about topics that are interesting for me -but not always it's that way-.

David K. Berlo was born in 1929, he had a doctorate in the study of communication from the University of Illinois in 1956 and his thesis is Allocation of Procedural Responsibilities as a Determinant of Group Productivity and Satisfaction.

In 1960 he published “Process of Communication: An Introduction to Theory and Practice” –his most famous-, in that book he exposes his own theoretical models of human communication.

“Process of Communication “ is very important for communication studies, because previous theory of Information of Shannon and Weaver wasn´t applicable in human behavior successfully, however Berlo yes.

I like Berlo because his model is very interesting and relates human communication with learning, differences and similarities of two. Berlo´s model is more complete and in his analysis considerate that more parts and if communication is efficient or not, in comparison of Shannon and Weaver that their only concern was quantifying the information. Berlo is important for communicators because his theory allows us to understand the process by which we can to communicate well.

Monsters of childhood

This topic scares me because since I was a little girl I knew that for the rest of my life I would be a chicken. A lot of things scare me, like darkness, figures of the virgin (saints, Jesus or whatever) on churches, horror movies, et cetera …We don´t have time for a top ten of my fears and monsters of childhood, so I’m going to choose one.

Do you know Marcelo Rios? Marcelo “Chino” Ríos was a professional tennis player; he was ATP number one in 1998. I was 2 years old do I can’t remember, but why him? Well, because of his triumph so many people started selling merchandise with his face, was a boom of mask of “Chino” Ríos and my cousins had one.

When in home we talk about that mask they laugh of me because I was afraid to see it and I always yell “leave me alone, get out, please, mom!” Some years ago I understood that was only a mask and yeah, was an ugly one, but for my little I, the mask was a horrible monster that made me a bit paranoid.

Hi, habemus update!

I think photography is an important way to conserve memory, we know about the history of our country through the images and postal of determinate period – if we are talking since photography invention- but whatever time we want to remember always we can find visual or material archives –yeah, paintings and sculptures too-.This post is related to image and that emotional, history or whatever value that we can give to them.

This photo is from one year ago, he is Martín, my “brother/cat”. Why? Well, he arrives to my home when he was four days of life because her cat mother disappeared and my sister couldn’t keep him and his siblings –Negro and Isabel, they actually don’t live with us- Martín love so much my mom and I share her with him, he treats her like his mother, father like his father and me like his sister –always being a little bastard with me (when we are playing) and later such a lovely cutie (when he wants).

Martín it’s a cool model, I really loves the result of all photos that I take of him –Yup, I took this picture- , for me he is always on point. When I upload a new photo of him in our Instagram immediately his picture has likes from people around the world.

Particularly this image it´s from one day that he laid on mom´s bed –that´s why his left eye looks weird- and I was bored and I had that free newpaper “Hoy x Hoy” and made a duster, so I put it in Martín’s head. It was joke but then when I took the photo I thought that looks interesting. He has paper hair.

My favorite food? Sorry,not according to plan :D

 Hello there, How about a new update?

In my family everybody is good at cooking but I don't have those culinary skills –except bakery, I'm good at it, hehe- But that isn't the point of post it haha, today I'm to write about my favorite food… Wait, my favorite food?! Really?! Well, how do I start? I'm a picky eater and I don't have any food that I love with all my heart -haha that sounds stupid-. The only that I have clear is my Top Ten of food that I hate and wanna share it with you.

Here we go!

My Picky Top Ten 

                                                      10.- Chocolate

I like so much chocolate but I'm allergic :( so I can't eat it frequently.

In easter day four years ago I ate too much chocolate and I thought that I was dying. My stomach hurt, i only laid on my bed for the rest of afternoon.

                                                      

                                                       9.-  Orange Juice

Ok, actually it´s not that I don´t like orange juice -my favorite drink is Crush-, but i´m allergic to it too -like chocolate case-. My physical reaction is a big stomach ache and if I don´t use plastic straw, my mouth sting a lot.

                                                       

                                                               8.- Rice

Yes, this is weird because I eat sushi and others things with rice but without accompaniment I really hate it, actually I don’t know why but I only like my granny’s rice and anybody else haha. I’m annoying picky, sorry.

                                                      

                                                            7.- Charquican

Yes, I know it’s a traditional chilean food but, honestly what is it? A stew with things that I don’t like –especially pumpkin-. Looks like whatever with whatever and more whatever of yellow color.

                                                          

                                                             

                                                               6.- Spiral pasta

I don’t know if it’s for their shape or how taste but I don’t like that type of pasta. It’s feel weird because for me isn’t the same flavor than others types of pasta. It’s flavorless.

                                                                

                                                                 
                                                                   5.- Beetroot

My dad loves bertroot, I can’t understand him. What you find delicious? It’s sweet and sour -sweeter than sour- and the texture is weird. And dear, that vegetable makes your pee pink.

                                                                 4.- Lettuce tortilla

My mom, dad and sister loves tortilla of whatever, I only like omelette and potato tortilla.

Again with the point, my family love those things and I hate it but the hatest for me is lettuce tortilla, it`s strange, like burned lettuce with egg and tastes like chlorophyll with soil.

                                                                  3.- Guatitas

Oh my god, why guatitas exist? They’re ugly and smelly. Every time that mom cook guatitas all the house smells so bad and I have to eat something different. It’s only how they smell I don’t know the taste, but I‘m not worry about because I don’t wanna try it.

                                                     2.- Shellfish + another sea things

I literally hate everything -maybe not all of them- of the sea that we can eat it. They are smelly and wet and only with this I’m outta here. I like fried fish, cuttlefish (jibia) and weirdly like kanikama only in sushi.

I don’t like shrimps but I feel kinda sad for them because every time that we cook shrimps, Martín meows for them. It's a monster with those littles.

                                                                 
                                                                      1.- Legumes

I hate those little things with all my soul, they’re so common and everybody have legumes in their home. I hate so much how they taste, texture and all of them.

Mom why are you doing this to me?

When I was a little girl I always was asking if I like the things that she was cooking for dinner, especially when was legumes she answered to me "yes, you like it". By the way the legume that is the most hated by me are beans -eww-.

Thanks for reading but I have a bonus...

Keep calm my dear now we have good news :D

I was lying haha because in reality I have food that I like.

Cabbage: I love so much, I eat cabbage since I was a little girl. Whatever shape or color, I like so much cabbage and if avocado is accompanying it, better for me ;)

Cyenne: I don´t care if they’re red, yellow or green, all of them are delicious in salad of soup.

Pineapple: My favorite fruit, mom gave a lot of pineapple juice when I was a child and actually I drink a lot too.

Berries: They are so sweet and red & purple; I like them because are sweet and a bit citric, smells and tastes good.

Ice cream: I like so so so so much Ice cream, I don’t care if it’s summer or winter, I enjoy how it tastes –especially pineapple, cherry or strawberry- It’s very interesting to try different flavors and discover new favorites.

90's and stuff (But television is no longer my friend).

I´m fine and this time i´m going to actualize this blog because I forget it- sorry-Well, here we go!

My childhood and TV

When I was a little girl I remember that my family had hired signal cable company Metropolis , metropolis today no longer exists, It´s old.

As we had Cable TV, for me, there was a host of channels to explore–Actually this is very different because are so many channels that It is almost impossible to you not to find something interesting to watch- Anyway my short zapping was summed up to three channels: Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network and ETC.

I remember that before I started my first school year I woke up before my parents and I sat on our couch and watch Nickelodeon children’s block, waiting to see Blue’s Clues, I was my favorite show. Later when the show ended for the day I went to my parents bed, turned on the TV, wake up my mom and together watched Franklin: The Turtle in Cartoon Network. I didn´t like so much Franklin, I thought that it was boring and I never told to mom because I thought she liked it. Several years later I discover that none of us entertained with the turtle.

My mom liked Doug, a show of Nickelodeon’s normal fringe. Doug was boooooring - I still think the same- . That show was for my mom and my sister, she was in her adolescence in that time. I still remember her bedroom with posters of pop groups and handsome actors. Anyway I liked Rugrats, Arnold, Cat&Dog, Kablam! and Rocko’s Modern Life too-but I didn't understand so much the last-.

Mom we did it, we are the champions!

As I grew up a little more, and after seeing the large number of VHS where my grandmother had recorded Heidi, task to unlock with mom –The second time for her- I became interested in one of the channels that my sister saw -No, it isn´t MTV, I knew that channel because my sister put in when my parents weren´t in home and spent the evenings thinking we were artists- I am referring to a Chilean channel that broadcasts anime, ETC, with my sister I saw Dr. Slump, Mikami, Ranma ½ and others -between these Hello Kitty's Paradise :)-. That became my favorite channel, but boring repetition of chapters made me take action and as a teenager with internet I meddled in the anime world and well... I think those who know me know how I ended ha ha.

My favourite piece of technology

Hello there

Today I´m gonna write about my cellphone. Why? well, because this object becomes to me a tool that I can find information for my work  and the most importarnt funtion for me is  that is my source of music. My smathphone is a Samsung Galaxy Grand Duo (It means that I can put it in two  differents phone numbers) My phone colour is white. Has two cameras, the normal and the frontal (for selfies, I don´t like too much selfies but well, the frontal camera was there). At first I thought that was a big cellphone for me and I hate big cellphones but  with the time I got used to it.

It supposed that was my birthday present from my parents but they gave to me in July and my birthday is in August. Better for me because I really needed to change my cell number, I had a problem with an old friend and better is forget everything about her.

Look at my screen, She´s Ayanami Rei from Evangelion, I told you that I like so much anime haha (what a nerd, no it´s not true :C )

I use my phone like a music player, it has more capacity than my MP4 and is more practical using one device than two. My explanation is because I love so much music and always I´m finding more so I need a big memory for all the files (Actually my phone has a  4 gb of an external memory and maybe 8 gb in total , but I want to buy another memory with more capacity).

My phone is with me everyday but I´m not depend of it, I have a real life too haha

Life without mi phone? haha that´s funny because the only people who matters about that are my parent and friends and not me. I hate phone calls! But wait if I lose my phone my music too. Forget it I like so much my phone and my music son my life is fine with it D:<
